Mir Consultancy is a family owned enterprise which has decades of experience in coal mining business
Mir Coal’s founder was Late Mir Khan Sahib Abdullah Asghar Ali Mir was born in 1857. He comes of a highly respectable family of Mirs which is a well-known trading community of Peshawar. He went to Balochistan in 1883. With his sheer honesty and integrity of character he has considered to be a leading and most enterprising business man in Balochistan. In 1897 on the occasion of the late Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee he received Diamond Jubilee Medal. In recognition of his meritorious services in the cause of general progress and advancement, the Government was pleased to confer on him the title of “Khan Sahib” on the occasion of Memorable Coronation Durbar in December, 1911.

Mir Consultancy is a firm working in the area of coal mining in different areas of Pakistan such as Narwari, Mach, Dukki, Shah Rag, Hyderabad

Mir Consultancy is associated with Mir Coal Mining Company which is one of Balochistan’s largest coal extraction company. Mir Coal Company was established by Khan Sahib Abdullah Asghar Ali Mir, one of the pioneers in the field of Coal Mining. Mir Coal Company established on pillars that are so strong that it now holds majority shares in the coal mining sector in Narwari, Mach, Dukki, Shah Rag and also controlling the local market price of coal.

Chairman: Haji Muhammad Abbas Mir is the Chairman of Mir Coal Company. He comes with a rich work experience spanning 40 plus years in the field of mine planning, production, management supervision, direction and control of underground as well as open cast coal mines. He has been involved in the supervision, production and maintenance of mines in the Narwari, Mach, Dukki, Shah Rag, Hyderabad area for over 40 years and has an extensive library and knowledge of the past, present and future mining in the Narwari, Mach, Dukki, Shah Rag, Hyderabad, areas.





Mr. Wajid Ali Khan Mir is the Proprietor of Mir Consultancy, he is also Managing Partner in Mir Coal Company and Raja Mining Corporation. Wajid has worked on the rehabilitation and monitoring of abandoned mines, that includes examination and maintenance of the current mine, mining lease and any rehabilitation, exploration and subsidence issues.  He has over 20 years of experience in consultancy of coal mining, exploration, survey work, coal mine direction as well as working in other side of the industry as labour protection, hard area transportation and infrastructure development of coal mining areas.
